Matt’s Project

mustangs1.jpg

For Matt’s final school project he need to do a project on something related to American history. He decided to do it on the history of the Ford Mustang. He researched for his speech and also built the 6 models you see here. It’s pretty cool to see how the Mustand has changed over the years. He learned alot while doing it. Not just about the great days and the dark days (1974-80) of the Mustang but he also learned that he probably won’t build anymore models. We aren’t wired for that.

The Best Painting I’ve Ever Seen

David, our first born, did his 15 hour project for school on the time line of Christendom. He chose some of his favorite subjects during the time and painted it on a window pane. The window was free from a friend’s garage and we also have a friend, who will be teaching art, to give him some direction. Is this amazing or what? I know I’m bias and I’m no critic but I’m looking forward to it hanging on our wall and him doing another one.

Super Matt

Here is Matt Morris. Our second born. On the last Wednesday of LifeGroups (small group) at church they had different games and stuff to celebrate the beginning of summer. He chose to wear his friends Superman costume. Which, by the way, is my favorite superhero. No one dared him to do it. He just did it. He is not afraid. We have always been concerned about what we wear and how we look. I can truly be grateful that I have a son that isn’t concerned about that and is so cool in how he does it. You go boy!
